// approach

A process engineered
for clarity and speed.

We're a tight team of designers and developers who’ve shipped 120+ projects together. No handoffs, no vague timelines — just direct collaboration and measurable outcomes.

[ 01 ]

Discover

We dig into your user data, markets and competitors. The goal: find the highest-leverage problem to solve first.

[ 02 ]

Prototype

Design sprints with clickable wireframes. We test with real users to validate the flow before a line of frontend code is written.

[ 03 ]

Develop

Clean, semantic, accessible code. We build with modern standards — HTML5, CSS, vanilla JS — and ship fast, below 1MB page weight.

[ 04 ]

Deploy

CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and performance budgets. We don't walk away — we monitor and iterate with you.

// philosophy

Design that respects
the user's time.

Great design is invisible. It doesn't demand attention — it earns it by solving a problem with zero friction. At Slate Forge, that means every button, color and animation has a purpose, and every page loads in under a second. We obsess over accessibility because a product that excludes users isn't finished.

Our craft is combining visual elegance with structural integrity: we design in the browser, prototype with real data, and write code that looks as good in a terminal as the interface does in a browser. This is how we've helped clients increase conversion by an average of 38% within 90 days of launch.

// faq

Common questions.

Most site builds run 6–10 weeks, from discovery to deploy. Wedesign in the browser and test with real users throughout. For ongoing work, we offer monthly retainer agreements post-launch.

Startups and smaller sites typically start at $8,000. Complex product builds for SaaS or e-commerce usually land between $15,000 and $35,000. We'll scope it precisely in a free 30-minute consultation.

We prefer hand-coded frontends — they're faster and more secure. For content-heavy sites we'll set up a headless CMS so you get the best of both: a blazing-fast frontend and an easy editor.

Every build includes semantic HTML, structured data, and a page-weight budget under 1MB. Core Web Vitals are part of our acceptance criteria, and we'll show you the Lighthouse report at handoff.
